Gmail Setup ​

If you want to send emails from DispenseFirst using your Gmail account, this page is for you. This document will guide you through the process of setting up your Gmail account.

Configuration ​

Go to your Google account security settings and enable 2-Step Verification (link: https://myaccount.google.com/security)

Now, you can select the “App Passwords“ option to set up a new app password. If you don’t see the option navigate to this link: https://myaccount.google.com/apppasswords

In the Select app option, choose Other (custom name) and give it a name of your choice and click on Generate. A 16-digit password will be shown once, you can copy it (remove the spaces) and keep it somewhere safe. This will be the new password you'll use for DispenseFirst. Here's the one I generated:

Awesome. Now you can proceed to use your email address and generated password to send emails.

Navigate to the store settings and insert:

• your email
• the new password generated (make sure to remove all spaces)
• leave the server and port blank
• make sure to select gmail as the "provider"
